Many people enjoyed spending time at the Millennium Country Park and our other community woodlands during the first lockdown and we’re happy that our woodlands have given people a haven in nature for their well-being throughout this difficult time.

Now here we are again, another lockdown and the Forest Centre is closed again, and the few events that we were able to run are cancelled. So we really need your help to recover some of our lost income and get us growing again.

Our woodlands don't look after themselves - they need to be managed, not just so they're safe for the public to visit, but also to provide diverse habitats for the wildlife they provide homes for. We're also busy preparing for the next tree planting season, as this winter we're still planning to start planting a new woodland in Houghton Conquest, which will eventually be home to some 50,000 trees!
