Digital Marketing Assistant

Part-time, 20 hours per week, with options for flexible/hybrid working patterns

£21,000-23,000 per annum, pro-rata

We are looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Assistant to take day-to-day responsibility for our digital channels (social media, website). Working closely with our full-time Communications Officer, the successful candidate will drive forward our digital activity to deliver increased awareness, engagement and support for the Forest of Marston Vale Trust and its subsidiaries.

The role involves planning, coordinating and delivering social media and online activity, including content creation and PPC, together with the measurement and analysis of results to continually drive improvements. Experience in a similar role is essential.

Hospitality Supervisor

We're looking for an experienced Hospitality Supervisor to join the team at the Forest Centre in Marston Moretaine. The Forest Centre is a social enterprise that raises funds for our charity, and includes a public café, corporate events, private parties and weddings.

The role involves leading the front of house team to deliver a welcoming, community spirit type service daily in the café bar and through our events. You will be responsible for supporting the Catering Manager, coaching and motivating the team, ensuring the highest standards of Food Safety and Health and Safety, opening and closing the café bar and cash handling at the end of each day.

About you:

Experience in leading a team in a hospitality setting is essential. The ideal candidate will hold high expectations when delivering customer service, be enthusiastic when exploring menu ideas and be calm and confident when responding to customer requests and complaints. Experience in cash handling and event management would be advantageous although full training will be given.

About the role:

Shifts will be 5 days from 7 worked out on a weekly rota basis. Weekend and evening work will be required, although we pride ourselves on offering a fair work/life balance.
