Discover career opportunities at our Community Forest below: Facilities Manager We’re looking for an experienced pro-active Facilities Manager to join the team at the Forest Centre in Marston Moretaine. The role is a challenging and diverse one, looking after the Forest Centre buildings, equipment, and infrastructure to ensure visitors and staff can enjoy clean, functional and well-presented spaces in comfort and safety. Key responsibilities include site security, Health and Safety, routine and reactive maintenance, setting spaces for events; managing contractors (cleaning, waste management, security, maintenance); supporting clients and visitors. You’ll need a flexible approach to working hours and duties, and the practical skills to help keep a building open daily to the public running smoothly. To be successful you’ll need practical hands-on maintenance experience, excellent communication skills and strong Health & Safety knowledge. The role has previously been a live-in position, at a salary of £24,990 per annum and benefitting from a large 2-bedroom flat overlooking the Millennium Country Park, with utilities paid. For candidates not wishing to live onsite the salary would be £37,000 per annum. 37.5 hours per week (some out-of-hours, split shift, weekend/Bank Holiday working will be required). The role will start on 1st August 2026, with a potential induction/handover period during the last two weeks of July.
