General Manager (Catering and Events)


We are looking for a General Manager for the Forest Centre, our popular visitor centre in Marston Moretaine. The Forest Centre is the hub of the Charity and includes a public café  and a mix of corporate, private and public events, conferences and weddings.

The successful candidate will become the face of our hospitality business, delivering excellence across the operation.

You will need to be a dynamic and experienced catering and events professional, with excellent hosting and customer service skills, an eye for detail and a passion for what you do.

Confident in taking ownership of your department, you will recognise the importance of developing and empowering a strong team. Always looking for opportunities to improve the offer and grow revenue, you will help guide the future direction of the Charity’s hospitality operation.

The role is a mix of strategic and operational planning, and operational delivery. It isn’t a job that can be done from behind a desk and you will be happy to be hands-on to lead and support your team when needed.
