Public transport - Various buses stop on Crane Way (click here for timetables) Car - Follow the A421 from Bedford/ Junction 13 of the M1 to the Marston Moretaine junction and follow signs to Cranfield. On road parking is available in the village, but please park thoughtfully. Start/finish points The bridleway leading north at the junction of Crane Way/Bedford Road Length 2.5 miles Accessibility No steps or cross falls recorded Surface types – Varied, ranging from a hard, firm surface with stones no larger than 5 - 10mm, to grass or uncultivated earth paths with and without ruts. Linear gradient – Steepest gradient is between 1:6 - 1:9 down to the stream (point E). There are also gradients of between 1:10 - 1:13 and up to 1:18.
