Coronavirus restrictions remain in place across the country.

In England, from 17 May, you can socialise indoors in a group of up to 6 people or 2 households. Up to 30 people can meet outside. Pubs, restaurants, theatres and other venues can open indoors. People can attend indoor and outdoor events, including live performances, sporting events and business events. Attendance at these events is capped according to venue type, and attendees should follow the COVID-secure measures set out by those venues.  Read the full guidance on what you can do.

Visiting the Forest Centre...

From Monday 17th May 2021 the Forest Centre is open, and café is open for indoor dining as well as a takeaway service - please see our opening times page for details.

As per government guidance, those who are able to must wear a face covering inside the Forest Centre. We will be using the NHS Test and Trace system to record all customers using our indoor seating areas. This can be accessed by scanning the QR code on our signage on arrival.

We are only accepting card/contactless payments throughout the building - we are unable to take cash payments. 

There are social distancing measures in place and there is an anti-bacterial hand gel station on entry.

Dogs aren't allowed in the Forest Centre (with the exception of assistance dogs).

The playground is open Please wipe over equipment before and after use, use hand sanitiser before and after use, maintain social distancing and keep yourself and others safe by following Government guidance as posted at the entrance.

Visiting the Millennium Country Park...

The wetlands trail is open for wetlands annual passholders, Friends of the Forest and valid day ticket holders.

All 4 bird hides will be open from Tuesday 18th May - please sanitise your hands before and after using the hide, maintain social distancing and wear a face covering if there is more than one person in the hide. Please make sure that you are still keeping the recommended distance of 2 metres between yourself and others (not from your household) when out in green spaces.

Do not park in front of our gate as we need emergency access 24/7 - if you need to drive to the Millennium Country Park for your daily exercise then please use the out of hours spaces provided.
