Be part of something amazing!

Meet new people, improve your physical and mental wellbeingshare your skills and learn new ones - all while supporting your local Community Forest.

Join us for a volunteer day on Thursday 25th June and help us with ragwort pulling at the Millennium Country Park, Marston Moretaine. We would really appreciate your help!

Some areas of the Millennium Country Park are currently in poor condition for grazing and has a fair amount of ragwort which is toxic to horses and cattle. To improve the quality of the grass we need to be able to graze it, and to graze it we need to pull the ragwort. Improving the grassland will benefit the wildflowers, invertebrates, small mammals and birds which use it including both harvest mice and barn owls.
