Dishoom is a group of nine restaurants in the UK. The first Dishoom opened in Covent Garden in 2010, and Dishoom now has six cafeĢs in London, as well as cafés in Edinburgh, Manchester and Birmingham, a dozen delivery kitchens and an online store. Dishoom pays loving homage to the Irani cafés, food, culture and heritage of Bombay. Breaking down barriers and bringing people together over food and drink is at the heart of what we do.

At Dishoom, we recognise the huge value of the work that is happening at the Forest of Marston Vale - both from an environmental perspective and in terms of the positive impact it is having on peoples' lives. We feel that this work reflects our own values of supporting our local communities and bringing people together.

For these reasons, every year we will plant a tree at the Forest of Marston Value for every Dishoom employee - starting with over 1700 trees being planted in 2023 - to help the Forest grow and achieve its goal of 30% tree cover.

We are delighted to start working with the Forest of Marston Vale Trust, and this collaboration will be in addition to Dishoom's existing charity partnerships. These include our long-term relationship with The Akshaya Patra Foundation (in India) and Magic Breakfast (in the UK), through our 'Meal for a Meal' initiative, which provides a meal to a child that might otherwise go hungry for every meal served at Dishoom.
