A huge thank you to our Friends

We’d like to say a really special thank you to all of our Friends of the Forest for supporting us right now - as you can imagine our income has been wiped out, with the Forest Centre closed and our events all cancelled. We need the support more than ever!

Regardless of everything going on, we still have 12 woodlands to maintain and keep safe for those who live on their doorsteps - this is everything from habitat management, hedge cutting, coppicing, tree safety surveys, maintenance of fences, furniture and signage, grass mowing, scrub management, litter picking, path clearance and all the things in between that our ranger team and volunteers do all year round, whatever the weather. Not only do donations go towards this, but they also help us to plan our upcoming tree planting next year (we’ll be planting next to King’s Wood, near Ampthill in early 2021).

We want to continue planting trees and keeping our sites safe for visitors and create habitats for wildlife - none of this is possible without public support. We understand the financial pressure that people are under right now, so we know that it means more than it ever has that you’re continuing to donate. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts - all of your help is making a huge difference right now.
