Are you looking for some fun and exciting ways to spend your summer? Do you want to explore the wonders of nature, unleash your creativity, and enjoy some amazing entertainment? Then look no further than the Forest Centre, where we have a range of events for all ages and interests!

For the kids...

We have some ROARsome dinosaur crafts on Tuesday 25th July, where you can make your own prehistoric pals and learn some fascinating facts about these ancient creatures. Or how about some sea life crafts on Thursday 10th August, where you can create your own underwater world and discover the amazing animals that live in the oceans. Our craft events are suitable for ages 3+ and tickets are £4 per child.

If you have a sweet tooth, don’t miss our cupcake decorating workshop on 24th August, where you can decorate your own delicious treats and take them home (if you can resist eating them on the spot!). Our cupcake decoration session is suitable for ages 5-11. Tickets are £8 per child, make sure you book ahead to avoid disappointment! Booking is essential.

If you love a good adventure, then join us for our two exciting trails! Join our Jurassic trail and help us find the escaped dinosaurs and return them before they cause any damage. This runs from 1^st to 7^th August at 11am and 1pm in the Sensory Wildlife Garden. The farmer needs help herding his animals, can you help? The Farm Yard Trail runs from 15^th to 21^st August at 11am and 1pm in the Sensory Wildlife Garden. Tickets for the trails are £3 per child and are suitable for children aged 1+.

For the adults...

We have some fantastic tribute nights that will make you dance the night away. On Friday 30th June, we have Karin Bello with her Tina Turner tribute, where you can enjoy some of the best hits from the Queen of Rock. On 28th July, we have an ABBA tribute night, where you can sing along to some of the classic tunes from the Swedish pop sensation. And on 29th September, we have The Bee Gees tribute night, where you can groove to some of the disco anthems from the legendary trio. These events cost £15 per person, food is available between 7pm - 8pm and the bar is open from 7pm. Booking is essential.

Last but certainly not least...

There is something for all the family at our biggest fundraising event of the year: Forest Family Fun Day on Saturday 2nd September. The day has something for the whole family and will be jammed packed with an array of things to do, including stalls, rides and activities, games, animal encounters, a grand raffle, nature trails and more. This year you will also be able to catch appearances from children’s favourites, Bluey and Bingo, at intervals throughout the day. Book your early bird discounted tickets for only £2 per child and £1 per adult, available until the Wednesday 30th August.
