The menu at our Forest Centre café has had a re-vamp and is going down a storm with our customers so far.

Talking about the thinking behind the changes Hannah Fothergill, General Manager said: “We wanted to make the menu more exciting yet keeping many of our traditional well-loved dishes. From quick bites to hot meals, there really is something for everyone and we are really enjoying serving it. We have had great feedback so far”

With so many new dishes on offer the Forest Centre continues to be inclusive to dietary requirements, providing a range of gluten free dishes, for example. Increasing our plant-based offering was also a priority for the new menu, with more meals now being vegetarian and vegan friendly, or with vegan adjustments available (Try our vegan cooked breakfast!).

Head Chef Simon Kirkham added: “We are offering a much wider range of plant-based options with this menu and moving towards a 25% plant-based menu in the future is something that we are aiming for. We have more exciting plant-based additions to come over the following months too”

Additionally, our café continues to offer several milk alternatives at no added cost, as we know that dairy alternatives are a necessity and shouldn’t be an added cost!

With the new menu in full swing, and a continued varied offering for children too, there really is something for everyone to enjoy. Focussing on delicious freshly made food, Head Chef Simon said, “I really wanted to introduce new flavours with the new dishes, and also add my own twist on some classics.”
