Join us for our next volunteer day on Thursday 12th September and help us with woodland edge management at Folly Wood, Lidlington. We would really appreciate your help!

We will be focussing on woodland edge management where you will be helping to create a more diverse woodland edge habitat. Managing the woodland edge allows more sunlight to the area which encourages flowers and shrubs to thrive, creating ideal habitats for butterflies and dragonflies, and pathways for small mammals. It also keeps the site nice and tidy for our visitors.

All you need to know:

• Meet at the Boughton End Lane entrance of Folly Wood at 10.00am
• You will receive exact What Three Words location on registering your interest 
• All tools are provided 
• Please wear old clothes and sturdy footwear with good ankle support
• Parking charges do not apply when volunteering - please make sure that you give your registration number when you sign in for your task
• Free tea and coffee is provided
• Activities are subject to change, depending on weather and staff resources on the day
