TERRRIFIC TREES AND THE TALES THEY TELL...

PART OF OUR NATIONAL TREE WEEK ACTIVITIES

Join our storyteller Jane from Wassledine on a story walk and celebration of trees. On a guided walk from the Forest Centre to the decorated tree cabin, Jane will take you through the tree alphabet to discover folklore, facts, and fables as you meet different trees along the way. There will be food from the trees to taste, and wooden medals to create for the champion tree awards. Each child will leave with a story to tell, a favourite tree to find and a wooden medal to adorn it with - or wear yourself as a reminder of the terrific trees all around us!

Sessions are from 10.30am - 12pm and 1.30pm - 3pm (each session will last 1.5 hours). We will meet outside the Forest Centre at the start of the session and walk to the cabin together - please arrive in plenty of time.

Price - £1.50 per child
