A closer look at wild flowers

Bob Hook and Judith Knight take a more detailed look at the beautiful wildflowers you see in the Park, their history and mythology.

Talks are approx. 1 hour long, with time for questions.

As there is a cost involved in putting on the Learning Lunchtime talks, donations to the Forest of Marston Vale are much appreciated. Parking charges also apply. Friends of the Forest get free parking all year round* at the Forest Centre - click here for more information

About the speaker

Bob Hook and Judith Knight are both Forest Volunteers - Bob organises our regular nature and bird walks (having spoken at the Forest Centre before) and Judith has also spoken at the Forest Centre before about the relationship between poetry and wildlife.

If you're interested in the Millennium Country Park, we run guided nature walks throughout the year, which are a great opportunity to see it from another angle, and learn something new. Click here to view our upcoming events, and select 'Guided Walks' at the top to narrow it down!
