Learn something new in our free sessions...

For our first Learning Lunchtime of the season, Paul Hawkes will be exploring the extraordinary geological history of Bedfordshire from Middle Jurassic - Mid Tertiary times. Having retired from the geographical industry after 38 years in March 2020, Paul's rich knowledge and contagious passion for geology will have you hooked throughout. In this talk you will learn about the intricacies of Bedfordshire's underlying bedrock, and you'll have the opportunity to examine rock specimens of present day Bedfordshire.

The Learning Lunchtime talks are FREE! - There is no need to book onto this event.

As there is a cost involved in putting on the Learning Lunchtime talks, donations to the Forest of Marston Vale Trust are much appreciated. There will be a collection bucket in the room or you can click here to donate online if you'd prefer.
