Discover Butterflies at The Millennium Country Park

Did you know the Millennium Country Park was once desolate pits dug to supply clay for the London Bricks Works? Over the last 20+ years we have regenerated the site and created a luscious haven for a wide array of species... including magnificent butterflies.

Join our expert Ranger Nicola Ceconi on a leisurely stroll around the Millennium Country Park where we will be on the look out for different species of butterfly. Nicola will be chatting about the importance of butterflies to our landscape and will sharing her knowledge about the species you'll see.

Our Discover Butterflies Walk will start at the Forest Centre so Please meet at the Reception.

This is a FREE event. Please wear appropriate footwear and clothing. The walk will be along surfaced paths and grass routes. Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed.

This event is in association with The Great Big Green Week

The Great Big Green Week is the UK’s biggest ever celebration of community action to tackle climate change and protect nature.

Every year, people come together to unleash a wave of support for action to protect the planet. Tens of thousands of people in every corner of the country celebrate the heartfelt, brave, everyday actions being taken to stand up for nature and fight climate change.

If you are able to then please consider adding a small donation to the cost of your ticket when booking - all money raised goes back to helping the charity, and supports us planting more trees and looking after the Forest of Marston Vale.
