Why are there so few parties of swifts creaming around the towns nowadays? Bob Hook and Judith Knight talk about what might be affecting them, and what is going on locally to help find homes for these iconic birds of summer.

While you're here, if you haven't already, then check out our swift boxes on the front of the Forest Centre. During the summer months their speakers play constant swift noises to attract the birds to nest. Obviously they aren't on at this time of year - but they're potentially a really valuable asset to the Millennium Country Park. Fingers crossed for next year!

Talks are approx. 1 hour long, with time for questions. Feel free to grab a tea or coffee from the Lakeside Cafe beforehand and take it in with you!

They are free to attend but we ask for a donation to cover our costs.
