What's going on Events Country Park Clean Up: part of The Great Big Green Week Clean up your Country Park The Millennium Country Park is one of our most visited sites, which means it is often met with a large amount of people... and sadly their litter! The Country Park is a haven for all sorts of wildlife, from resident birds to many species of mammal. You can help keep your local wildlife safe and your woodland litter-free by joining us on our Country Park Clean Up. Our Country Park Clean Up will be a walk around The Millennium Country Park. Please meet at the Forest Centre reception at 11am. All equipment will be provided, though you are welcome bring your own gloves and litter pickers. Please dress in appropriate clothing and footwear. This is a FREE event and we would really appreciate your participation - please register below. If you have any questions about the clean up contact Jo Roberts at [email protected] This event is in association with The Great Big Green Week. The Great Big Green Week is the UK’s biggest ever celebration of community action to tackle climate change and protect nature. Every year, people come together to unleash a wave of support for action to protect the planet. Tens of thousands of people in every corner of the country celebrate the heartfelt, brave, everyday actions being taken to stand up for nature and fight climate change. If you are able to then please consider adding a small donation to the cost of your ticket when booking - all money raised goes back to helping the charity, and supports us planting more trees and looking after the Forest of Marston Vale.
