Storytelling at Woodworks!

We are delighted to be able to announce that for the second year running, Bedfordshire County Council will be supporting the storytelling stage at Woodworks!

 

 in association with

A general wood and trees theme will run through the material presented during the weekend, with premiers of specially commissioned works based on real happenings in Bedfordshire. This year these will be drawn from real life crimes involving prisoners at Bedford Gaol in the 19th century. The registers of these prisoners are availalbe at the Bedfordshire and Luton Archives and Records Service. For more details of the Service visit their website www.bedfordshire.gov.uk/archive
