11.45am Jack McNeill and Charlie Heyes
Jack and Charlie finger pick guitar and fiddle, songs and tunes about the places we go and the people we meet. Entirely compelling and captivating; this is excellent contemporary acoustic music with evident roots associations but clear originality.

12.45pm Landermason Fiona Lander and Paul Mason have been writing,
recording and performing together since 2000.
Multi instrumentalist Fiona (vocals, piano, whistles,
saxes, clarinet and recorder) and Paul (guitars and
vocals) have developed a unique sound which
displays their undoubted talents. They combine
both traditional and contemporary folk with jazz
and other styles in their beautiful and striking
arrangements.

1.45pm Barron Brady
Two performers who confidently uphold the
richness of the British folk tradition with superbly
crafted self-written songs and fine interpretations
of English folk song, beautifully sung with great
sincerity and with impeccable musical
accompaniment.
Their beguiling lyrics often draw upon the stories,
legends and folklore of the South-West. It will be
great to welcome Ros Brady and Si Barron back
for their third appearance at Woodworks.

11.45am Zoox
A superb trio (Linda Game, Jo May and Becky
Menday) serving up a cocktail of new melodies
and traditional tunes with a delicate balance of
strings, wind, percussion and voices. Be prepared
for a fabulous array of instruments from
contrabassoon to congas. Exciting arrangements,
great musicianship and infectious energy typify
the performances of Zoox in a show which is
guaranteed to entertain and enchant. Their rich
and varied influences include Celtic, Appalachian,
Klezmer, African, Cuban, rock, and classical.

12.45pm Soma & the Half Moon Drum Circle
Soma’s mix of influences has been described as Indo-Afro-didgeriblues. An extraordinary mix of percussion beats at its heart amongst, guitar, bass and vocal harmony. At Woodworks Soma will be joined by Bedford-based singer, Pooja Gupta, adding a distinctly Indian flavour to their set.
The Drum Circle will pick up from Soma, providing some disciplined drumming on instruments mostly from West Africa

original irreverent brothers of the folk and blues
scene. Combining instrumental virtuosity, powerful
songs and pure entertainment, Ben and Joe never
fail to crank up the energy levels and leave an
audience wanting more.
