WOW
(Window On the World)

This caravan is a camera obscura, made by local artist Susannah Oliver, of Swan Legacy fame. It has a mirror which adjusts and reflects light through a lens & onto the floor of the van. By holding a canvas at about waste level the view of the outside of the van can be seen. To focus the image you simply have to raise or lower the canvas, thus changing the focal length.

The camera obscura is in need of a make-over, or as I like to put it 'Pimp-my Van'. It is my wish to show people this great bit of kit, and with luck come across someone that would like to fund its renovation.
