Travel details for The Clay WayHOW TO GET THERE - BY CAR Bromham Mill is at the western end of Bromham bridge off the A428 Bedford to Northampton Road, about three miles west of Bedford. The Mill has parking, toilet facilities, and an attractive rneadowland with picnic tables. Parking is available during the times displayed on the entrance gate (presently between 9am and dusk weekdays and 10am and dusk Sundays). Please park considerately. Remember to take all valuables with you and ensure that your car is securely locked. HOW TO GET THERE - BY BUS A frequent Monday to Saturday bus service operates between Bedford and Bromham. There is also a limited Sunday service. Timetables for this, or any other service linking to the Clay Way, are available from local libraries, tourist information centres and travel operators. The passenger transport section of the Bedfordshire County Council will be pleased to help you work out a suitable itinerary. HOW TO GET THERE - BY TRAIN Travel on the Marston Vale Line, which runs between Bedford and Bletchley, to Ridgmont station, which is approximately 1 mile from the start of the walk.
