Travel details for the Brogborough Gateway Trail
There is a regular bus service, route number 161, that runs along the A421 between Bedford and Brogborough. Timetables for this, or any other service linking to Brogborough, are available from local libraries, tourist information centres and travel operators. The passenger transport section of Bedfordshire County Council will be pleased to help you work out a suitable itinerary. HOW TO GET THERE - BY TRAIN Travel on the Marston Vale Line, which runs between Bedford and Bletchley, to Ridgmont station, which is approximately 1 mile from the start of the walk. There is no Sunday service on this line. For timetable information please contact Silverlink Trains. HOW TO GET THERE - BY CAR The Brogborough Picnic Site car park is situated near Brogborough village which is by the A421 approximately 0.5 miles north-east of junction 13 of the Ml. The picnic site car park is the suggested starting point for this walk. |
