What is it all about?

The Forest has a very active group of Volunteers. Without their enthusiasm and dedication, a lot of what the Forest achieves would not be possible. Volunteers help with a large range of our work, for example, planting trees, looking after the Country Park, leading walks, helping run events and helping in the Forest Office.

Would you like to join the Forest Volunteers?

If you have some spare time, we need your help. There are lots of opportunities for you to make a valuable contribution to our work. People volunteer for many reasons. Whether you want to keep active by doing some practical work, learn new skills, meet people, offer specialist skills and experience, or improve the strength of your CV, we would love to hear from you. Forest Volunteers is open to anyone over 15, of any background or ability. We do our best to find opportunities for anyone who is willing to help.

There is currently a vacancy for a volunteer part-time Casual Warden - click here for details
