At 868 hectares, over 2000 acres, the River Valley Park could become the largest park in Bedfordshire.

It will include the beautiful Priory Country Park; already a superb place for sailing, angling, cycling, walking or just taking the air. If you think of Bedford River Valley Park as Priory on a massive scale, you won’t be too far wrong. But because the area is so large, a greater variety of activities could be accommodated together with more space for wildlife to live and thrive.
