The Queen’s Green Canopy (QGC) is a unique tree planting initiative created to mark Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee in 2022, which invites people from across the United Kingdom to plant trees in Celebration of The Queen’s 70 years of service.
In the Forest of Marston Vale we're working with the Lord-Lieutenant Helen Nellis to encourage individuals, community groups, organisations and businesses to “Plant a Tree for the Jubilee” through one of our tree planting initiatives, and asking them to add their Jubilee tree to The Queen's Green Canopy map to celebrate this very special occasion and highlight the fantastic tree planting efforts in Bedfordshire this year.
